About Us

Transgender Explored is a team of professionals based in the UK, run by a Consultant Psychiatrist based in Bristol with a specialist interest in gender identity issues.

Contributors to the site include doctors and other medical professionals, counsellors and psychotherapists, transgendered service-users and their friends, not only in the UK but across the whole world, particularly the USA.

We are developing this site to support the Transgender Community, their families and friends, health professionals and gender services.

Our aim is to produce an interactive, informative resource so tell us what you would like to see and get involved now!

We want to hear all about your own experiences, your views and comments, advice and words of wisdom. Whatever you think is important, we want to know!
